2. Description of Service

Premium Profile is a Canadian platform that connects employees and employers across Canada. The service allows:

  • Employees to create and manage professional profiles
  • Employers to view and access employee profile data
  • Secure data sharing between verified parties
  • Profile management and updates
  • Regional job matching within Canadian provinces and territories
  • Compliance with Canadian employment standards and labor laws

3. User Roles and Permissions

3.1 Employee Users

Employees can:

  • Create and maintain their professional profile
  • Upload personal information, qualifications, and experience
  • Set job preferences and salary expectations (in CAD)
  • Control visibility of their profile data
  • Access limited employer information as permitted
  • Specify their status in Canada (PR, Citizen, Work Permit, etc.)
  • Indicate transportation preferences and work location preferences

3.2 Employer Users

Employers can:

  • View employee profiles and qualifications
  • Access employee contact information and experience
  • Review skills, education, and certifications
  • Contact employees through the platform
  • Manage their Canadian company profile and information
  • Post job opportunities compliant with Canadian employment laws
  • Verify employee work authorization status

4. Data Collection and Usage

We collect and process the following types of data in compliance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA):

  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, Canadian address
  • Professional Data: Work experience, education, skills, certifications, licenses
  • Job Preferences: Salary expectations (CAD), work schedule, location preferences within Canada
  • Company Information: For employers, Canadian company details and contact information
  • Immigration Status: Status in Canada for employment verification purposes
  • Geographic Data: Location information for regional job matching

5. Data Sharing and Privacy

Your data is shared according to these principles, in compliance with Canadian privacy laws:

  • Employers can view employee profile data for recruitment purposes
  • Employees have limited access to employer information
  • Data is encrypted and stored securely within Canada
  • You control what information is visible on your profile
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • Data sharing complies with PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws
  • Cross-border data transfers follow Canadian privacy requirements

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of Premium Profile, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the service for legitimate employment purposes only
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users
  • Not misuse or attempt to access unauthorized data
  • Update your profile information as needed
  • Comply with Canadian employment and labor laws
  • Provide accurate immigration status information
  • Respect provincial employment standards and regulations

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to access other users" accounts
  • Use the service for harassment or discrimination
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
  • Violate any applicable Canadian laws or regulations
  • Discriminate based on protected grounds under Canadian human rights laws
  • Violate provincial employment standards or labor codes
  • Engage in fraudulent employment practices

8. Canadian Employment Law Compliance

Users must comply with applicable Canadian employment laws:

  • Federal Laws: Canada Labour Code, Employment Equity Act, Canadian Human Rights Act
  • Provincial Laws: Employment Standards Acts, Human Rights Codes, Labor Relations Acts
  • Immigration Laws: Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, work permit requirements
  • Privacy Laws: PIPEDA and provincial privacy legislation
  • Anti-Discrimination: Protection against discrimination based on protected grounds

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that:

  • Violate these terms of service
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Provide false information
  • Misuse the platform or other users" data
  • Violate Canadian employment or privacy laws
  • Engage in discriminatory practices
  • Fail to comply with provincial employment standards

10. Limitation of Liability

Premium Profile is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Employment decisions made by users
  • Accuracy of user-provided information
  • Actions of third parties
  • Data loss or security breaches beyond our control
  • Violations of employment or immigration laws by users
  • Disputes between employers and employees
  • Provincial employment standard violations

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of this service will be resolved in accordance with Canadian law:

  • Employment disputes should be addressed through provincial employment standards offices
  • Privacy complaints may be filed with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
  • Human rights complaints should be filed with provincial human rights commissions
  • Legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the applicable Canadian jurisdiction

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to comply with changes in Canadian laws and regulations. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
